Apple Harvest Continues

With this beautiful weather lately, we've had lots of pick-your-own customers harvesting 'Enterprise' apples.  This variety ripens over a long period, so we'll still have some ripe for the next 4 or 5 weeks.  It's great for fresh eating, baking, applesauce and any other use.
Kids have fun picking their own apples.
We also have a few 'Sundance' and Coop 27 apples, and some customers pick those also.  'GoldRush' apples are just starting now, and will be ripe until about Nov. 20.
I pick more 'Enterprise' apples each day, and have started picking some 'Sundance', Coop 27 and 'GoldRush' apples.

I'm picking all these varieties also, and we now have many harvested apples for sale.  I give taste samples of all these varieties.  We're open for sales and pick-your-own apples Mon.-Sat. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sun. 1 to 6 p.m. However, some weekdays I'm gone for brief periods delivering fruit to schools, so it's best to call 620-597-2450 a day or two ahead, and leave a message on the answering machine saying what day and time you plan to come, so I can look for you.
