Red raspberries are still ripening in quantity, and have excellent
quality. Black raspberries will start about June 8, and purple raspberries
will start about June 10.

Raspberries, like
all our berries, are sold pick-your-own only. Pick-your-own
raspberries cost $1.86 per pint + tax.

From June 1 to Aug. 31, we're open our summer hours: Mon. to Sat.
7:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sundays 7 to 9 p.m. only.
We're closed Sunday mornings for church (as we are year-round), and
from June 1 to Aug. 31 we're closed from 12 noon to 7 p.m. due to
high heat.

We'll have plenty of red raspberries and some black raspberries to pick for the next 3 weeks, and many purple raspberries to pick for the next month. It's a good idea to call 620-597-2450 a day or so ahead before driving a
distance, and let me know when you're planning to come. Some days we already have many customers coming, and on those days, ripe raspberries get hard to find by mid-morning. So I can suggest another day if we already have several groups coming on the day you've chosen.

Thornless blackberries will start
about June 18 or 20. Our workers and I are very busy now pruning the primocanes of the blackberry plants, and getting them behind the fruiting canes (floricanes) so customers can see the berries. Once they're ripe, blackberries are also sold pick-your-own only, for $2.55 per quart + tax.
