Late Peaches, Early Apples & Pears Ripe Now

Many people have come to buy peaches over the last few days, so we're now down to the last 5 to 7 days of peach season.  We still have about 120 pounds of 'Carolina Gold' yellow peaches to sell, and about 200 pounds of 'China Pearl' white peaches left to sell.
We still have about 240 pounds each of 'Flameprince' yellow peaches (left) and 'Autumn Star' yellow peaches (right) left to sell.
Our workers finished harvesting 'Flameprince' yellow peaches on Sat. morning Aug. 24, and we still have about 240 pounds of this variety to sell.  I'll finish harvesting 'Autumn Star' yellow peaches, our latest-ripening peach variety, tomorrow, and we'll also have about 240 pounds of this variety to sell.  We have just 2 trees of 'Flameprince' and 4 trees of 'Autumn Star'.
All our peach varieties are freestone, and all have excellent flavor.  I give taste samples to those interested in buying peaches.  All our harvested peaches are safely stored in our cooler, set at 50 F, ideal for storing peaches.
We now have a few of our earliest-ripening apples, 'Crimson Crisp' (left) and 'Sun Gala' (right) for sale. 'Sun Gala' is a selection from my apple breeding program, so it doesn't exist anywhere but on our farm, and we only have 2 trees of it, so it's limited.
I started harvesting a few early apples, European pears and Asian pears in the last few days, so we have some of those for sale also.  We usually have many customers stop by during the week leading up to Labor Day.  That's Sept. 2 this year, so we'll probably sell out of peaches by Sept. 2, and apples and pears may be limited during Labor Day weekend, as only a few are ripe this early, and many people are buying them.
Small amounts of harvested peaches, apples or pears all cost $1.30 per pound + tax.  We pick directly into 20-lb. boxes, which I then weigh to exactly 20.0 lbs., so you save $1.00 if you buy a 20-lb. box of peaches
, apples or pears for $25.00 + tax.  We also usually have some nice 2nds peaches with rain cracks, limb rubs or other surface damage, which sell for just $0.88 per pound + tax.  Our 2nds apples and pears sell for $0.93 per pound + tax.
For payment, we accept cash or checks; NO debit cards or credit cards.  Please bring your checkbook or enough cash to cover what you'll buy.  Thanks.
We're still open our summer hours, as shown in the sidebar at left, until Aug. 31.  We're open 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon & 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mon.-Sat., and closed noon to 7 p.m.  If you tell others about us, please let them know these summer hours.  Thanks.

Our fall hours, also shown in the sidebar at left, start Sun. Sept. 1 and continue until Nov. 30.  We're open our regular fall hours on Labor Day.
I'm usually out harvesting peaches, apples or pears each morning, until customers start arriving here.  I put a sign on the sales building above our bell, that says "I'm working in the orchard. Ring bell for service."  Ring it loudly, just once or twice, and I'll hear it and drive our utility vehicle up to the sales building.
