Open by Appointment Dec. to May

   We're still open Dec. through May by appointment, which means to phone 620-597-2450 a day or two ahead and leave a message on our answering machine saying your name, when you'll come, and what you want to buy.  You can make an appointment to arrive here between 10 & 11:30 a.m., or between 1:15 & 4:15 p.m., Monday to Saturday.  Several customers have already made appointments for Sat. afternoon Dec. 3 and Tues. afternoon Dec. 6.

   We still have over 3800 pounds of harvested 'Enterprise' apples, and over 2000 pounds of harvested 'Gold Rush' apples, in large bins stored in our larger cooler.  I'll sort apples out of those bins all winter and spring, so we'll have both 'Enterprise' and 'Gold Rush' harvested apples for sale until about next May.  Call ahead to order them, though, as so far they're selling about as fast as I sort them.

   We still have about 450 pounds of 'Harrow Sweet' harvested pears ready to sell, and about 100 pounds of 'Shenandoah' harvested pears.  Come in the next week or so to get these, as they'll likely sell out within 2 weeks.

We'll have 'Harrow Sweet' pears for the next 2 weeks or so, & 'Enterprise' apples until May 2023.

   We sell #1 harvested pears and apples for $1.39 per pound + sales tax.  We sell #2 (2nds) apples and pears, with cracks or bird pecks, for $1.06 per pound + sales tax.

    We pack the #1 fruit directly into 2 bags in each box, which I weigh to 20.0 pounds.  If you get a 20-pound box of pears and/or apples, the price goes down to $1.34 per pound + sales tax.  So a 20-pound box of pears and/or apples costs $26.85 + sales tax, and you save $1.00.

   We still have 45 bags of harvested, cracked pecans for sale until about Dec. 10.  We've now sold out of 'Kanza' pecans, so these are all selections from my husband Bill's pecan breeding program on our farm.  All these pecan selections have large nuts, thin shells, and excellent flavor.  Pecans keep well in the freezer for at least 6 years.

   Pecan prices are the same as last year.   We sell cracked pecans in 4-pound bags, which are over 75% pecan kernels and under 25% shell fragments.  Each bag has the equivalent of 6 pounds of in-shell pecans, and when you pick out the pecan kernels, you get 3 pounds or more of nutmeats.  Each bag costs $18.52 + sales tax.

   For payment, we accept cash and checks (from any state), but NO credit cards or debit cards.  We have no phone line to the sales building, and no card reader.  Please bring your checkbook or enough cash to cover the amount you want to buy.  Thanks.
