Apples & Pecans to Sell Out Sooner

"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.  You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.  Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!"  2 Corinthians 9: 11-12, 15

"I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity.  In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.  I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."  Philippians 4:12-13

We now have less than 1400 pounds of apples in our sales building cooler, all 'GoldRush'.  Last year at this time we had over 14,000 pounds of apples in our two coolers.  So we'll sell out of apples earlier than stated before, probably by mid- to late Jan., and I've changed the end date for harvested apples in the sidebar at left.  Apple prices are detailed in the last blog post, dated Nov. 9.
We'll still have 'GoldRush' apples for sale for the next 1 to 2 months. They'll keep well in your refrigerator for 10 to 11 months.
We still have some cracked pecans for sale in 4-pound bags for about the next week.  These are described and prices given in the last blog post, dated Nov. 9.  My husband Bill only has a few more trees to harvest, hopefully in the next few days.
Bill harvested the 'Kanza' pecan trees in our pecan orchard on Sun. afternoon Nov. 11, just before it snowed.  That was the only good day for pecan harvest in the last 3 weeks.  He hopes to harvest 'Lakota' pecans in a few days.
The pecan crop is even smaller than we first thought, and many are buying them, so we do have to limit the number of pecan bags we sell to each household.  Pecans will also sell out earlier than stated before, so I've changed the end date for harvested and cracked pecans in the sidebar at left.
Most of the 'Kanza' pecan bag have sold already, but we'll still have some for sale for the next couple days.  Late this week we hope to have a few 'Lakota' pecans harvested, dried, cleaned and cracked so we can sell them.
Those who want pecans and can't get them from us may get them from Miller Pecan Company in Afton, OK.   They have 'Kanza' pecans and other varieties.  Their website is https://www.millerpecancompany.com/freshnuts/
We'll be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but open our usual fall hours (see sidebar at left) every other day until Nov. 30.
From Dec. 1 to May 31 we're open by appointment.  That means, from Dec. to May, to phone 620-597-2450 a day ahead, and leave a message on our answering machine with your name, the day and time you'll come, and what you want to buy.  Our phone rings in our house, so I'll get your message when I come in from working in the sales building or orchard.  If you want me to return your call, state your phone number clearly in your message.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, praising God for sending His Son into the world.  Jesus' death on the cross paid the price for all our sins, and His resurrection from the dead proved that He conquered sin and death.  So all who accept Him as Savior and Lord are forgiven from all wrongdoing and free to walk in the Holy Spirit in newness of life eternally!
